Gibson 2014 EB Special Bass Guitar

I have come to the point in my life where I have decided that, although I probably will never get any "better" as a guitar player, I want to at least have good equipment!

After selling my Peavey and upright basses, I had my eye on two or three bass guitars.  My Fender American Jazz Bass arrived on December 13, 2013.

I had been considering a fairly low-priced special release of the Gibson SG bass.  I almost ordered one and then had second thoughts about the short-scale design.  After further looking, an EB model in natural finish caught my eye.

This is a Gibson 2014 EB Special Bass.  I looked around locally, but couldn't find anything I really wanted, so I ordered it on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from American Musical Supply.  I will say that they are quick.  It arrived FedEx just two days later, with no special shipping.  This came with the hard-shell case.
