Sometime in the spring of
2024, we were watching a documentary on Crosby, Stills, Nash &
Young. During one of the performances, Stills and another
guitarist were playing 6-string banjos. I had never seen one.
I started looking into this and decided that since I hadn't been
using my Taylor GS mini bass, I would look into trading it on this
instrument.
A 6-string banjo, it is called a Gold Tone AC-6+
acoustic/ electric composite banjitar.
On a trip to
Syracuse on May 3, I stopped at Guitar Center. Their offer for
my Taylor wasn't terrible so I made the deal. It wasn't in
stock, so they shipped it and it arrived on Thursday, May 11. |
