I received the first e-mail from Mike Baumer on August 9, 2014. Here is what he had to say:
I have a Yamaha FG-360, too. Amazing guitar! I will
never part with it. Well, maybe for the right price.
Here is the info on mine...... Serial number 41026325.
Beige label in the sound hole saying, "Yamaha FG-360, Republic
of China, Made in Taiwan. I don't know enough about the wood
to speculate what types it is made of. It has the old style sealed
tuners that are stamped, "Yamaha, Made in Japan."
The guitar is in great condition and is the best sounding acoustic
I have ever owned. I picked it up off of Craig's List a few years
ago for $30
Our thanks to Mike for sharing his story with us and I must say, he got more than a bargain!
