I was first contacted by Brad on October 14, 2018. This FG-360
would be the 25th Taiwanese model that we know of and number 102
overall. Hi David, Greetings from Sydney, Australia. We have an avid group of FG devotees and a healthy range of Yamaha Guitars especially from the 70's onwards. Always on the hunt for another acoustic to add to my collection I recently came across this beauty. She was advertised or sale with the owner requesting pickup only. I made arrangements to jump on a train and meet her to see this baby in person. As we all know pictures can be a little challenging to determine the extent of things like string height etc but upon meeting up with the previous owner I was struggling to contain my excitement. She was leaving back to England in a few days and offered the guitar to me for an extremely affordable price. AUD$220:00 or approximately USD$150:00. As you can see she is in pretty decent shape, not pristine by certainly well cared for. To make a long story short, she was happy that the guitar was going to be well loved and web bud each other goodbye. She now holds pride of place amongst my other guitars and after a good fret redress, a dose of lemon oil and a new set of 11 Elixirs she sounds and plats like a dream. Serial numbers are as follows ... #41104404 at the end of the fretboard ... November 4th 1974 #0620699 at the neck base block. I assumed this number was pertaining to the "Old Calendar" Any further advice you can give would be much appreciated and many thanks for your incredible work helping us all out. Sincerely, Brad Bloodworth +61 404333232 P.S. I also came across an FG180 that I would be interested in sharing and learning about. Cheers Our thanks to Brad for contacting us.
