I was first contacted by David on January 18, 2019. This
FG-360 would be the 27th Taiwanese model that we know of and number 107
overall. Hello David. My beauty was bought in Omaha, Nebraska some time after 1977 or so. Serial number: 41030481. From your welcome information I surmise that it was built October 30, 1974 in Taiwan. Like others whose comments I have read, I perpetually thought to myself, “I need a Martin or Taylor, don’t I?” But I never found one I liked better than my old Yam. It has been my mainstay as a touring actor, cabaret performer, singer-songwriter and teacher. Our greatest claim to fame was a Songwriter’s Concert at Folk City in New York back in 1982. Now I am a card carrying geezer, we are in it for the long haul. Thanks for your web page and sharing your research on this instrument I consider another appendage of mine, with the most balanced tone and fret board playability I can imagine.
