I was first contacted by
Eddie on October 30, 2020. This FG-360 would be the 89th Japanese model
that we know of and number 137 overall.
Hello David, I am contact you about my Yamaha FG-360, made in Japan, model #31129 (Nov. 29, 1973). It was given to me 29 years ago on the weekend that I proposed at my wife’s family reunion. I was also given a Martin D28, herringbone, about 15 years later. Happy to report that out of the two, I do still have the Yamaha. I would not part with the tone, playability, or sentimental value. Always my first or second choice to play out of my many, many guitars. I wrote a song for my wife-to-be and stepdaughter that week on the beach, with that guitar. I have it in my studio, hanging between a Yamaha FG-750S and a Yamaha FG-335 II. I was glad to find your page and all of the compiled information. Thank you for your time and dedication to the FG-360! Eddie Fultz in Tennessee Our thanks to Eddie for contacting us.
