and number 131 overall. Hi. I came across your website while trying to dig for information on my Yamaha FG-360. I have owned this guitar since I was a teenager and remain its onl;y owner and player. Curious to see if I can date the instrument: It is a 5-digit serial number so it would be early 1974 or before. Serial number: 40125. From the info you give it sounds like this was manufactured in January of 1974, correct? There's a couple of small dings but the guitar is in superb condition (and still actively played). I had to replace the tuners on it a few years ago as one of the original tuners just fell apart one day. I also installed a Martin thin-line under-saddle passive pickup on it several years ago.
