Mark Johnson's Yamaha FG-360

I received an e-mail from Mark Johnson on March 29, 2013.  Here is his story:

Hi David –

Ran across your FG-360 page the other day and thought I’d pass along my FG-360’s information for your collection.

I purchased the guitar new in 1974 from Hampshire Music in Nashua NH.  There was slight damage (small gouges) to a small section of the neck, so it was on sale for $150.  Tuners replaced in 2001 (I kept the originals).  Other than that she plays fine, sounds and looks great.

Best regards,

Mark

Our thanks to Mark for sharing his story with us.

Other notes.  Mark's guitar was made in Japan on May 8, 1974.  The label indicates “Nippon Gakki Co., Inc.  Made in Japan”  It also has “NK” stamped in ink.
