I was first contacted by
Jon on August 12, 2020. This FG-360 would be the 83rd Japanese model
that we know of
and number 128 overall. Hi David, My name is Jon Weiss and I stumbled across your website about Yamaha FG-360's through my good friend and newfound FG-enthusiast Bryan on cc, who is an owner of an FG-180 and was notified about you through Dave Fengler / CTGull of the Yamaha FG appreciation website -- http://yamahavintagefg.com/ I wanted to let you know I am a proud owner of a Yamaha FG-360, I've had it since I was about 13 (about 16 years ago) after stumbling across it in my dad's closet back in Maryland. The funny thing is though, he doesn't remember purchasing it and swears it's not his. So how the guitar got into our family, is a mystery! I tried looking up the serial number as well for your catalog but it's so faded it's hard to tell what it is. The guitar is at my parents place in Delaware, and I live in Washington DC and will visit them next weekend to get the guitar and get better pictures. At that point, I'll also see if I can figure out the serial number by studying the engravings harder. Any tips and info on this guitar would be greatly appreciated! I know very little/next to nothing about it. Also, one of the tuning pegs snapped off and can't be reattached -- do you happen to sell this part or know where I can get a genuine one? Have you seen this issue before? Without further ado, proof of the guitar and pictures attached! Thanks! Jon Our thanks to Jon for contacting us.
