I was first contacted by Kevin on June 14, 2024. This FG-360
is the 48th Taiwanese model and number 179 overall.
David,
Came across your page like others looking for some/any info on my guitar. In 1984 I traded it for a trumpet I played all thru grade and high school at a music instrument store in SoCal. It was claimed to be used -traded in but looked new. Cross brace S/N: 411_22502 (the underscore is a space in the numbers). So appears as a Nov 1984? It's a Taiwan model. Neck support: 0632334 It has a great sound.. but I wouldn't consider myself a aficionado acoustical guitar person. It looks very well constructed, and like others commented, the top does not appear to be laminated. Since I never really learned how to play very well, it's been stored in the case it came in, which is padded-lined in a yellow-gold color. No ID on the case but has 'Japan' stamped on the hinges. There is virtually no wear on it, I would guess it's condition would be graded in the high 90% scale range. Now that I am mostly retired, been thinking maybe start up with it again.Cheer --Kevin Our thanks to Kevin for contacting us.
