I was first contacted by Les on July 27, 2023. This FG-360 is the
26th Japanese model not exported to the US that we know of and
number 169
overall.
Hi David, read your webpage with great interest , this is my
360, it was originally purchased from Dawsons Music , Chester
UK in 1973 by a friend who eventually passed it on to another
friend who passed it on to me !! . I have replaced the original
machine heads with Grovers and have a Fishman pick up on it (
for playing in bars ). the serial number is 30109326 . Hope you
are still playing and the website is still current .Cheers Les.
Webmaster's note: According to this serial number, this guitar was built on January 9, 1973. It is one of the oldest FG-360 models that we have been notified of to date. Only two of the 170 we have data based are older! Our thanks to Les for contacting us.
