I was first contacted by
Matt on July 11 2021. This FG-360 would be the 92nd Japanese model
that we know of and number 147 overall. Hello! I stumbled upon your website while looking up info on my guitar. My dad bought this Yamaha FG 360 new back in the early 70s from Mike’s Pawn Shop in Birmingham , AL (which was still open until about a year ago actually). It’s still got the pawn shop’s sticker on the headstock. The serial number is 40419. I actually learned how to play on this guitar about 25 years ago and have used it since. It’s a solid instrument, very loud and sounds as goo as my Martin. Atttached below are a few pics. Hope this helps the database! Matt Our thanks to Matt for contacting us.
