I was first contacted by Michael on September 19, 2019.  This FG-360 would be the 29th Taiwanese model that we know of.
My guitar is indeed a FG 360.
The serial number is 50417447.
The summer of 1975 started with a road trip to California. I was living at the time in Brattleboro, VT. My best friend Joel and I headed West with all our belongings. At the time I believe I was still strumming a Harmony acoustic guitar.
After spending the summer in California I returned in the fall to New England. I secured employment at Sprague and Carleton in Keene NH.
During this period I made a visit to Noels Music Store located on upper Washington St.  in Keene. I was forewarned by my best friends Mom to be careful. She felt like his prices were too high.(I think that comes with being a New Englander lol).
I do not remember much about the shopping visit. I know I was handed a Yamaha and told by the clerk these were surprisingly well built for the price. I said I should certainly hope so for what I was about to pay. I believe I paid $300 dollars.
However, after strumming all the basic chords, I fell in love with the tone this guitar put out. I cannot say enough about the rosewood back, sides AND rosewood Neck! Just a lovely looking and sounding instrument. Such balanced tone!!

I will never sell or let this guitar go. To this day I adore the sound with a new set of Elixir Nanoweb extra light strings. They simply ring out.
I'm attaching photos I hope will show the guitars beauty. Thanks, Michael S. Porter
P.S. I don't know if I have a rosewood or ebony fingerboard and bridge?

Our thanks to Michael for contacting us.
