I received my first e-mail from Mark Mikoleit, on May 28, 2013.

Here is his story, as it appeared in that email ...

Hello David,

I found your site for FG-360 guitars from someone selling one on E-bay. Thanks for all the great information. I thought I'd add my two cents. I bought an FG-360 back on 01-10-1975 brand new. One of my high school classmate's mother worked for Yamaha in southern california so I got it for half price with case, $200. The label in the guitar says, Nippon Gakki Co. LTD Japan as well as Made in Japan and has an NK stamp on it. It has a 5 digit number of 40316. The 3 could be an 8. Mine has the a spruce top, Jacaranda rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard and bridge.  It has full body and neck binding. My top is not laminated and I have the scratches to prove it. I still have the warranty card and on the back it says Printed in Japan.  Hope this helps and thanks again for making the effort for all of us other FG-360 owners.

Ciao,

Mark
