Scott Olson's Yamaha FG-360

I received the first e-mail from Scott Olson on March 5, 2014.  Here is his story:
Dave,
I saw your post on the internet when I was looking for info to price my  Yamaha FG 360N.  I purchased it new in 1974 and it is in very good condition (after a couple years it rarely left the case). The serial number is 40309 which means it was made 3/9/1974. I also have the original case and an extra set of original strings. I am going to be moving soon and want to sell it.
Do you have any idea what it might be worth and are you interested in buying it?
Scott

Webmaster's note:  After a series of emails with Scott, we agreed on a price and I was going to buy this guitar.  As it turns out, his shipping options were limited and the cost of that made it impractical to sell and send it to me.  Unfortunately, to me, the deal fell through.  I haven't heard if he has since sold it, or to whom it may now belong.  I just hope they enjoy and appreciate this guitar as much as we do?

Our thanks to Scott for sharing his story with us.
