I was first contacted by Troy on February 4, 2018.  This FG-360 is the 23th Taiwanese model we know of and number 85 overall.

David,

I hope you are still compiling data. If nothing else, yours is the most extensive information I have found.

I have owned the Yamaha FG-360 since 1988. I borrowed it from an Aunt who bought it new around 1975. I am NOT a player, but was taking a class in college to fill credits. I didn't know the first thing about guitars and am sad that I didn't take better care of it. Who knew you shouldn't drag them through the snow by the neck? That said, friends who can play still make this guitar sing. It has such an awesome sound. My father-in-law has a collection of Taylor's and high end Martins. To me, the Yamaha beats them all.

Anyway, if you are still collecting, here is the info from this one:

A) R.O.C. Made in Taiwan

B) 41219217 under the fret board

C) 11639286 on the neck brace
