Marcia has sewed since she was young but through most of her life it was of necessity and to repair things.  Since she retired, she has started getting into it as a hobby, making such things as pillowcases, quilts, runners and wall-hangings.  She participates with two different quilt groups and, although she still uses her 25 year old plus Kenmore machine, we bought her a Husqvarna Sapphire 930 sewing machine in September 2014.
