Our week in Myrtle Beach on
the way to Florida ... January 2014
We spent a week, from January 17 through January 24 in Myrtle
Beach at the Boardwalk Resort. It was the first time we had
ever been in Myrtle Beach in January. It was somewhat
chilly, but most of the country had the same problem this
winter. We spent some time strolling around Barefoot
Landing, the beach and the new boardwalk there. On the 23rd,
we took a tour of the New South Brewing Company. It was a
great tour and we even bought a growler! We also enjoyed a
dinner with Larry and Pat Young, former co-workers of David's, who
now live there, and a couple of days later had dinner with their
son Matt and his wife, Meghan and their three sons. Meghan
is also Marcia's cousin. We headed out for Georgia on Friday
morning, January 24.
