Cypress Gardens Ski Show
The precision ski team that used to perform at
Cypress Gardens was a very popular event. After the attraction
closed, a ski team was organized in the area. We watched them
practice on Lake Silver in Winter Haven in February and then we
found out that they put on a show on the third Saturday of each
month. After jamming in Lakeland with some friends from up
north, we went over to Lake Silver to watch the show.
It was am amazing show. The pre-show
highlighted some of the younger members of the squad that are
learning the business. Then the pros came out. They did
jumps, flips, pyramids and a number of stunts. It was a lot of
fun to watch and we would recommend it to anyone when they are in
the area.
