Spook Hill
This is an interesting spot on a back street in Lake
Wales that reminded us of Magnetic Hill in Moncton, New
Brunswick. We went there on a family vacation when the kids
were young. Like with Magnetic Hill, the sign at Spook Hill
tells you to park you car at a given spot at the bottom of a low
spot in the road. When you put the car in neutral and take
your foot off the brake, you car will start moving backwards up the
hill! We didn't take time to figure out how this was
happening, but it did work!
