Parksdale's
Although the title of this page is very
close to our younger daughter's married name, that is
not a typo. Parksdale's is a strawberry farm and
market in Plant City, Florida, and the place to go for
fresh strawberries in the area. We made our maiden
voyage there with our friends Gary and Carol Wilcox on
February 22, which happens to be Miranda Barksdale's
birthday but that is simply coincidence. We have
told people that we had dinner there, but in reality, it
was a monster strawberry shortcake!
There is also a Strawberry Festival held
annually in Plant City, but it is, for the most part, a
fair or carnival. You can get the strawberries
here whether it is during the festival or not.
