Building the Golf Cart
As mentioned elsewhere, we decided to
buy a golf cart this year. Our park isn't that
big, but it is easier to transport Marcia's sewing
machine and accessories to her weekly quilt meeting and
David's guitars, amps and other equipment to the jam
session on a cart than it is to put things in the car or
truck. After looking around, a friend at the park
advised us to go to Jim Crandall here in Zephyrhills.
We ended up getting a Yamaha gas cart. This one
rides on a 2013 chassis that has been completely
refurbished. Everything above the frame is 2017.
We sat down with Jim on January 4 and picked out the
colors, the seat, the wheels, top and everything else.
He called us with a question on January 12 and said that
it was being assembled and that we could go look at it.
Our friends Dave and Laura Little happened to be
visiting that day. It was delivered on January 17.
