Hawaii ... Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam

After shopping at the Swap Meet and Marketplace at Aloha Stadium, we drove onto Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.  This is a joint US Air Force/Navy military base that was formed with the merger of the Hickam Air Force Base and Naval Base Pearl Harbor.  It also shares runways with the non-military Honolulu International Airport.  While here, we had lunch at Sam Choy's Island Style Seafood Grille & Hapa Deck.  We all had the fish & chips.  The Swai was apparently still swimming earlier in the day.  The beer we had was Kona, which is a brewery based in Hawaii.  Marcia had a Longboard Lager and David had a Wailua Wheat.  They were almost as good as the fish!

After this, we went back to the house.  Kristin and Marcia took the dogs to the dog-park and David and Mel played their ukuleles.
