Hawaii ... Hale Koa Hotel
Luau
On the evening of Monday, October 27, the four of
us went into Honolulu for the Hale Koa Hotel Luau. There
were a number of pre-dinner activities including, flower bracelet
making, a musical trio, a local fashion show (which Kristin got to
participate in), a hula lesson (which she also was in) and a local
entertainer that climbed a coconut tree.
Dinner included several courses of local
delicacies and more entertainment, including demonstrations of
customs and music from the five regions of Polynesia. The
emcee of the show was Glenn Medeiros, who had a hit song that his
number twelve on the Billboard Top 40 charts in 1987,
"Nothing's Going To Change My Love For You."
