On our trip around the island on June
12, we stopped in the village of Haleiwa. This is
a popular town on the north. One of its claims to
fame is that it was the place where the TV show Baywatch
Hawaii was filmed back around the turn of the millenium.
We did some shopping here and had dinner at Haleiwa
Joe's.
