Haleiwa Beach ... June 2,

Mel had to work this day, so we drove
with Kristin and Lili up to the north shore. We
stopped and played on a public beach in Haleiwa.
There are a lot of pictures of Lilianna here, but that's
the way it's supposed to be. There are also a
number of pictures that look like we are looking at
water. We are! There were several sea
turtles paddling around here and I tried several times
to get their pictures. With the point-and-shoot
underwater camera I had, I didn't do very well but you
can see some shadows.
After a couple of hours at the beach, we
had lunch at the Haleiwa Beach House, a popular little
restaurant in the town.
