Our trip to Ireland ...

Day 8 ... Monday, September 24
After breakfast today, we took a bus ride. Our first stop
was at a little shop where they served Irish coffee. Then we
stopped at a facility that had sheep and sheepdogs. There
was a demonstration of how these dogs are trained to herd
sheep. It was beyond amazing.
Then it was on to the Ring of Kerry. This is a 112-mile
loop around the coast in County Kerry. The scenery was
amazing through the route. We saw the Lakes of Killarney,
Dingle Bay and the Dingle Peninsula, the Skellig Islands and
the village of Sneem/"the Knot in the Ring". We
had lunch at a restaurant overlooking Dingle Bay
Then it was back to Killarney for the evening where we wandered
around town for a while. We picked up sandwiches to eat at
the hotel and finished the evening with a pint at the hotel bar.
These photos were taken in at the sheep farm, on the Ring of
Kerry and in Killarney.
