Our trip to Ireland ...

Day 9 ... Tuesday, September 25
As usual, we had breakfast at the hotel and then we headed
north to County Clare. We visited Bunratty Castle and took a
tour of Bunratty Folk Park, which re-creates Irish life of over
100 years ago.
We then headed to the scenic town of Adaire where we strolled
around. This was acclaimed as the prettiest city in
Ireland. After this, we rode to Galway city where we stayed
for two nights at the Imperial Hotel.
The evening was an optional excursion to the Dungaire Castle, a
17th century castle that overlooks Galway Bay. We were
greeted there with a mug of Mead Wine and were entertained by a
harpist. Then we went upstairs to a banquet room where we
had a nice meal and were entertained by the harpist and two
singers.
