2009 Cadillac CTS AWD

 For the first time in 27 years, David decided to purchase a used car as his primary driver. This car was purchased on July
12, 2010 from Jim's Auto in Edwards. The decision to buy used was really enhanced when we considered that we saved over 25%
of the new cost on this car and it was only about 8 months old and only had 3614 miles on it when we picked it up.
We actually picked it up on Saturday, July 10 for a "week-end
test drive". Although we kept it all week-end, it didn't take
us (David) long to make the decision to buy it. We returned to
Edwards on the morning of the twelfth to complete the transaction.
We had actually been looking for a CTS for over four months.
In the beginning, we didn't consider an all wheel drive model. We
wanted a rear drive. As time went by and we passed on a number of
RWDs, we were beginning to expand our search to other dealers.
There were four colors that were high on our list, with a couple of
others that were acceptable. The Black Cherry, which this car is,
was number one on the color list.
After almost five years owning this car, it was time to go.
After a trip or two to Myrtle Beach, two winters in Florida, and over
83,000 miles on it, we traded it. It became the property of Mort
Backus and Sons in Lisbon/Ogdensburg on April 10, 2015, when we traded
it on a 2015 Chevrolet Impala.
